Tipple Park Museum is nestled in the northern foothills of Alberta bordered by the Pembina and Lobstick Rivers in the hamlet of Evansburg. Our museum celebrates the history of the area through exhibits in the main building as well as a collection of historic buildings on the property. Our main building features an archive and collections storage area.
The name "Tipple Park" is a nod to the hamlet’s coal mining past as the museum and adjacent park are located on the site where the infrastructure for the coal mine once stood.
Our museum is open to the public year-round, with limited access to the historic buildings during the winter months. We strive to offer programming for all ages in our community and have a year round schedule of craft hours, festivals, movie nights, lectures, and more. Check out our website or visit our Facebook page to keep up to date on our events and programming.
